Laut Telenor-Beschreibung http://www.telenorsat.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/THOR-7-coverage.pdf sind die Ausleuchtzonen im Ka-band: Nordsee, Rotes Meer, Baltische See, Persischer Golf und das Mittelmeergebiet.
